Jimmy szajkovics - flight instructor & pilot
Jimmy Szajkovics pronounced (Psycho-vich) has been flying for 51 years, and still loves to bring new people into the world of aviation. Jim is a retired Federal Aviation Safety (FAA) inspector who’s primarily responsibility was to provide continuing education to the flying public. Jim did that from the Milwaukee FAA office for 26 years, with a total of 36 years of government service. The last part of his career with the FAA, Jim was also a helicopter instructor and instrument examiner at the West Bend WI Army National Guard unit.
He retired with the rank of CW-5 with 26 years of Military service. Certificates and ratings include Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) for both single engine, multi-engine and rotor-craft helicopter. He also holds instructor & instrument certificates for all of the above. He has over 9,000 hours of flight time with over 3,000 of that time in helicopters.
He is a recent recipient of the FAA Wright Brother’s Award and is being inducted into the Wisconsin Aviation Hall of Fame.
